Co-sponsoring Your Events for CE Credit
As a nationally approved provider of CE credits for licensed mental health providers, PER reviews proposed programs on a regular basis for possible CE co-sponsorship. Adding the tangible value of CE credits to the educational value of your programs, conferences, books, or other professional development materials or services may be among the most cost-effective decisions you could make. Adding CE credits can substantially increase the interest in your programs, and the attention and registrations they receive. PER reviews proposals on an ongoing and complimentary basis. If you are interested in discussing the development of a program (seminar, workshop, conference, or other professional development programs or products), give us a call. We will discuss your program with you, determine its suitability for CE credit, and, if appropriate, invite you to submit a proposal for CE co-sponsorship. Proposals are very brief, ordinarily consisting of a program title, description, proposed presenter(s), dates, location(s), and learning objectives. All proposals are reviewed by an interdisciplinary team in relation to their potential contribution to professional development, as well as their goodness-of-fit with PER's objectives, interests, and goals. Proposals are reviewed on an ongoing basis, without charge or obligation. Co-sponsored events carry a CE service fee that is ordinarily included in the cost of the program registration or purchase. CE service fees range from as little as $15 per person (for a one-day workshop), to as much as $35 per person (for a week-long conference with multiple concurrent sessions). Our experience has shown that adding CE credit to your programs can substantially boost your registrations, particularly if your programs are designed to appeal to interdisciplinary groups of mental health professionals, or to draw from groups beyond your immediate agency, organization, or locale. PER is a nationally approved provider of CE credits for psychologists, social workers, licensed mental health counselors, licensed marriage and family therapists, and a range of other behavioral health professionals. Give us a call today and we will be happy to talk to you about our potential collaboration with you.
Becoming a PER Presenter or Author
If you have an interest in becoming a PER presenter, author, or course developer, give us a call. We sponsor scores of programs each year, including workshops, seminars, conferences, satellite trainings, and online programs. If you have an area of expertise that you would like to share, let us know. We will be happy to talk with you about developing your idea and about the possibility of our supporting it for CE credit, as well. We support new initiatives all the time. You may be interested in staring a speaking tour, or adding CE credit to your current workshops. Or you may be interested in developing a studio-produced CD or DVD on a selected topic or issue. Alternatively, you may want to contribute to a Web-based online course, or conduct a teleconference. Becoming a PER presenter, author, or course developer is an excellent way to earn additional income, while substantially enhancing your exposure, enlarging your reach, and bringing your expertise to colleagues throughout the country.
Recruiting New Resources: Newsletters, Books, CDs and other media
PER is a national leader in multimedia continuing education for licensed mental health professionals. If you are a book author, newsletter editor, or developer of a CD, DVD or other product that is designed to enhance professional development, you may want to have it considered for possible CE support. At PER we co-sponsor audio and video programs, monthly newsletter publications, and several lines of books that are designed to help meet the professional development needs of licensed mental health professionals. Give us a call and we will be happy to talk with you about your resources and how we might be able to support them for continuing education credit.
